Sculpting - Col Henry has been accredited with many ground breaking techniques and mediums including, Stainless steel, bronze, resins and more. Sculpture has been his life long passion, creating unique and interesting works of art, teaching in his studio, and designing and installing many sculptures in private and public areas. His philosophy requires the artist to imagine the concept, find ways to design and conceive, develop and improve and finally to actually make and install the works. One of his latest styles, the "Gossamer Series", involves physically sketching in space, which is innovative and explores figurative sculpture, where the spacial relationships take on a greater importance than the positive surfaces of the works. He is recognised as an innovator, not an imitator, and his unique work has developed over 40 years of dedication to his art.

The works are inspired by the landscape, but
have a strong figurative influence.
They have stories engraved on the lower surfaces
of the local Aboriginal Communities Stories

Sculpture designed for outdoor installation where strength and longevity are required. The combination of steel with its organic and natural surfaces, and the simplicity and resilliance of stainless steel are combined in an exciting and elegant juxtaposition. Works include some Public Sculptures that are over 4 meters tall.
