A FEW SELECTED ACTIVITIES
Col Henry - Born 28th April 1947 in Gosford, NSW.
Completed two Degrees, several Diplomas and Certificates and numerous Short Courses related to his artistic development since 1973 and practiced his art for four decades.
Full Time TAFE Teacher for 23 years, retiring in 1995.
Conducted Private Art and Sculpture Classes at his Studio for the last 20 years.
Completed many commissions for private companies and private collections.
Organised and contributed to several large group sculptures.
Five month study tour Europe 1997. Including collaborative sculpture/installation with Designer of the venue for the 1994 Winter Olympics ( Jan Inge Lindeberg ) – France.
Exhibit Sculpture at the opening of the Gosford Regional Gallery 2000.
Artist/sculptor involved with, Beyond The Frame, Gosford Regional Gallery 2002 and 2003 (an initiative between Gosford Regional Gallery and NSW Dept. of Education).
Guest artist, Sculpture by the Bay - 2004 and 2005.
Invited to exhibit in many sculpture exhibitions during each year.
Sculpture Consultations for Professional Artists including Mike Worrall, John Earle. .
Continually adding to his private collection.
Invited Committee Member - Wyong Shire Council’s Public Art Strategy.
Sculptures featured in Best House 2007 – My Home Channel 9.
Reported in many Magazines, Newspapers and Arts Papers.

Major Public Stainless Steel Sculpture for Wollongong Council, sited at Osborne Park, in the CBD Waterfront Park, Wollongong
Major Public Stainless Steel Sculpture for DECC and National Parks. The works are a site specific work collaborationing with local Indiginous Groups and Traditional Owners to add significance to a major stainless steel sculpture for Baradine - Dandry gorge, National Park. A fantastic opportunity with cross cultural influence and benefits.
